Put Your Foot Down

Welcome to the first hello to the first hello. To my cronies, to my G's, to my fellow dreamers, to my fellow Americans (Yeah, I'm the president now), and to my Brothers & Sisters:

Let's play footsies together.

Instagram has been life changing to everyone since the day it was born. Everyone is able to connect and communicate through pictures, comments, and trillions of likes. And I think that is the freaking coolest thing ever. Instagram has been a game changer, whether you like it or not.

Yes, sometimes I get extremely frustrated and angsty at how much of our lives are determined by social media. But how great is it, with all of that aside, that we can connect and communicate with complete strangers.

If you're reading this, it's because you've been tagged and I want to learn about you. I want to know what you hope for, why you create, and what on earth makes you giddy. I want to know YOU. What do you love? Who are you? Lets be a community of motivators. Lets encourage each other and not be strangers. If you've been tagged and want to participate, take a picture of your feet from where you stand and e-mail me. (jennanoellephotography@gmail.com) Then tag some people you want to know! We'll figure it out. Then I want to ask you some questions if das coo. From there, with your permission, I'll post your picture on Instagram and on this blog, with a little story about who you are. Don't feel obligated, but if you want to put your foot down with me, I'd love to get to know you!

I'll start:

I'm Jenna. Those are my feet, this is my story:

I started photographing the second I could understand that the button makes something happen in the little box I held. I haven't stopped. I love music more than anything. I get fixated on one artist for a couple months and analyze everything about them from the voice to the instrument and never get tired of it. If you bring up that musician in conversation I will not stop talking about my appreciation for them until you literally walk away or hit me. I watch interviews on comedians and movies I love for hours before bed. I usually can't sleep because I get too inspired. I want to be a writer/musician/photographer and I will be all of those one day. Or I am now. I don't know don't tell me what to do. I will always stop to pet an animal regardless of the warning signs of it not being friendly. I think cat teeth are the funniest things on the planet. I love my family and will forever fight with and for them. I have been fearlessly loved by the creator of the world and hope to do the same with all the people he created.

So now it's your turn. What's your story?
